Our distraction with less important things can take our attention off of things that truly effect our quality of life…healthy living, healthy relationships, satisfying work.
By the end of the day, most of us can barely lift a finger let alone a leg to exercise, but if we are to stay healthy and well rounded we must find time for ourselves.
As working women, mothers, students we sometimes find it difficult to relax and rejuvenate our spirits. However, when we don’t we find that our lives and our health get out of synch. We are frequently tired, begin having health issues such as headaches, ulcers and find it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. When we do sleep, we still wake up tired.
Does this sound like you? If so, your body may be trying to tell you that it needs a little TLC. The beautiful thing about being human is that our bodies will communicate with us if we will only take the time to listen.
